Each "S" and the "C" represents a transformative stage in my journey from despair to triumph as a young woman of color. Cast out by my family and facing addiction, abuse, and anger, I had no older woman assist me in navigating womanhood. Then, one day, I found myself sharing with younger women the things I needed an older woman to share with me. That unconditional Love set my inner spirit in a blaze, and that's when I chose to bet on myself, turning pain into purpose.
Through these heartfelt modules, I share the lessons and tools that helped me break free from destructive mindsets that many young women have due to society. Here, we focus our intentions on healing and changing our minds to uplift ourselves and our Sistas. This course isn’t just about my story—it’s about your journey to reclaim power, heal, and embrace the woman you’re meant to be. Each chapter has a Workbook Activity, Reflections, and affirmations that allow us to dig deep into ourselves in a supportive space.

Workforce Initiative at PIE
At PIE, our workforce development program, we are launching an initiative to train 100 young women to step up and run P.I.E. To pass the baton, we offer hands-on training in every aspect of nonprofit management and leadership. Young women in our program gain real-world experience through step-by-step guidance across all departments, ensuring they are equipped with essential skills to excel.
