What MAWOCN do?
At MAWOCN, we support the leadership and sustainment of Women of Color, we amplify survivor voices, promote culturally-specific services, and drive systemic change in our communities and beyond.
Your support is a commitment to change, a pledge to stand with those affected by violence and trauma.
Whether through donating, sponsoring, or simply attending our trainings and events, your involvement is a catalyst for real transformation and solidarity.

“The mission of the Massachusetts Women of Color Network (MAWOCN) is to support and maintain the leadership of women of color working in the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Movement in Massachusetts.“

KBSA : Keeping Black Survivors Alive Project
KBSA is a comprehensive toolkit and training program designed for service providers, faith-based organizations, social groups, educational institutions, law enforcement, and others who work with or may interact with individuals or families impacted by or recovering from sexual assault and domestic violence within Black communities.
While this culturally specific training focuses on strategies for the Black community because that community has the highest number of sexual and domestic violence-related homicides, the information obtained from the training and the resource database can be used to serve survivors of all identities, especially other marginalized populations. This resource aims to equip participants with culturally responsive strategies, practical tools, and insights to provide effective, compassionate, and trauma-informed support.
KBSA : A Project of MAWOCN
KBSA is the first statewide cohort of its kind in Massachusetts.
The KBSA Cohort is comprised of five Black women-led community-based organizations currently serving Black survivors.
We provide training and technical assistance to enhance culturally specific services for this population; ultimately to Keep Black Survivors Alive (KBSA)
